Reminder! Christmas Wreaths and Poinsettias order are due. Oct. 28. You can drop off your order form and money at school inside the front door in the return box Monday through Wednesday between the hours of 8 AM to 3 PM.

Just a reminder students work for this upcoming week October 26-30 can be picked up anytime at Sheridan Grade School. The front door is always unlocked and the students work is in the foyer. Students work is in a box labeled with their teacher’s name on it. We also have a return box for any work being returned from last week. Thanks for your cooperation! Stay safe and healthy!

Dear Parents, Students, and Community Members, This morning, the administrative team met and confirmed that one staff member has recently tested positive for COVID. We have also confirmed that the staff member was never in "close contact' with any students prior to testing positive and during the exposure period. However, we feel that it is in the best interest of our students and our staff members to implement our full remote learning plan starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 20th. We hope to return to in-person learning on Monday, November 2nd. We are, and have been working collectively with the Health Department to make sure that we keep all of our students and staff members as safe a possible during this recent spike of COVID throughout the state of Illinois and within our local community. Reminder!!!! PTO MEETING IS TONIGHT AT 5:30 at Sheridan Grade School!

Friday, October 2 is our second Remote Learning Day. You will need to fill out the form by 8:30 a.m. to be counted as present. If you do not have internet, please contact the school today. Chromebooks will be coming home on Thursday. Your chromebook will need to be charged and returned on Monday.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU for the fantastic attendance response that we had today!!! I was so grateful to our families for the attention to attendance, whether online or through phone call, that we received. For our first remote learning day, it was SUCCESSFUL!!!
