Soccer won their Jr 10 Tournament quarterfinal match vs Newark last night and will play HBR in the semifinal game next Tuesday

SMS softball won both games of their double header vs Mendota Holy Cross last night. They pulled off an awesome come from behind victory to finish the first game 7-6. They then won the second game 11-3.

This has been a great week for SMS sports so far. Soccer won their games against PAW Paw (6-0) and HBR (3-2). On Tuesday, Baseball defeated Peru Catholic 17-1 and Softball defeated Seneca 13-3. Great Job!!

Saturday: Baseball is home with a double header vs LaSalle Lincoln (10:00am)
Due to excessive heat in the high school, all Unit 2 Schools (Serena Middle, Harding Grade, Sheridan Grade and Serena High School) will be dismissed at 1:00 (SMS and SHS) and 1:15 (SGS and HGS)on Wednesday, August 23 through Friday August 25. Coaches will be in contact with their athletes regarding practices and games.

Two great wins for Serena against Milton Pope last night. Our softball team won 3-1, and baseball had a final score of 16-0. GO HUSKERS!
