Serena CUSD #2 high school cafeteria is looking for a part time/full time employee. Duties would include serving food, working on computer, putting away orders, cleaning, ect. Must be energetic, enjoy working with students, be able to lift approx 20 lbs, standing for long periods of time, And must be willing to obtain or already have your food service sanitation license. Hours would be 10-2 Monday -Friday no holidays, or weekends and off in the summer. Perfect job for a parent with students. Good Afternoon
We are just a little over 24 hours away from graduation!! Can’t believe it’s here. Just a couple reminders for tomorrow’s graduation.
Doors will open at 4:30 for seating. We will have staff and students at the front doors to help seat your party.
Accessible seating has been sectioned off.
When you come through the doors your party will be assigned a specific “pod” number. Once inside the gym all pods are clearly labeled. Please be seated.
Once graduation is complete the new graduates will exit the gym from the north gym exit and form a reception line outside. Please follow the graduates out and start the celebrations!!!
Remember, all guests will need to wear a mask. If you are not feeling well please stay home.
DIRECTIONS FOR GRADUATES
PRE-CEREMONY
1. Arrive at school by 4:00. Report to the gymnasium. DON’T FORGET TASSEL!!!!
2. At 4:10, each senior will sit in their respective seats to guarantee proper order and seating arrangements and cords will be passed out.
3. At 4:15 you will be lined up for your class picture. The photographer will arrange you for the picture.
4. After pictures, proceed to the Band Room.
5. Line up as practiced at your assigned door for the processional by 4:50pm
PRESENTATION OF COLORS 4:58
PROCESSIONAL
1. Line up as practiced. Make sure the tassel on your mortarboard is on the left side.
2. First and second people in line go to designated spot and stop. The Processional will start after the presentation of the colors.
3. Proceed down the aisle, walk slowly, and fill in the first row. Leave the last seat in the first row for the marshals.
4. When your row is filled, please remain standing. Remain standing until after the Pledge of Allegiance.

AWARDING OF DIPLOMAS
1. First row of seniors stand when directed by Mrs. Pippenger. Proceed up the right stairs as Ms. Pippenger calls your name. Second row stands when the last student is about to go up on stage. The third row follows suit.
2. Come up and receive the diploma in your left hand and shake the Board Members hand with your right.
3. Mr. Thomas will give final directions.
4. Mr. Thomas will direct graduates to move tassel. The class will turn their tassel to the right (signifying graduation).
5. The recessional will play and the class VP will lead graduates out the north gym doors to form a reception line.

The baseball and softball games at Indian Creek last night were suspended by rain. Indian Creek is coming here tonight for the regularly scheduled game at 4:30. We are going to start at 3:30 with the continuation of the suspended games. At the conclusion of these games,we will play the regularly scheduled games.
