Sheridan Grade School

Due to the continued forecast for snow, and the potential for hazardous road conditions throughout the day, all Serena Community Unit School District 2 schools (Serena High, Serena Middle, Harding Grade, and Sheridan Grade) will have an E learning day today, Tuesday, January 9. Students should follow instructions given to them by their school and teacher(s). All practices and extra-curricular activities are cancelled. All special education bus routes and the Indian Valley Vocational Center are also cancelled today.

The Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a vacancy through April 2025.

Due to the excessive heat, Sheridan will dismiss at 1:15 PM Wednesday, August 23rd through Friday, August 25th.

Due to excessive heat in the high school, all Unit 2 schools (Serena, Harding, and Sheridan) will be dismissed at 1:00 pm (SHS & SMS) and 1:15 pm (HGS & SGS) on Wednesday, August 23 through Friday, August 25. Coaches will be in contact with their athletes regarding practices and games.

Elementary students should complete Day 2 activities in their emergency packets. Middle and High School students have assignments in their Google Classrooms.
